Broken camera by the sea. Shattered and forgotten. The waves hunger.
But I saw you there. Corner of my eye. A glint of light on overcast day.
And you saw me. Whom the sea threw back. O’misty lens lifeline.

Hush blew the winds amidst midnight’s cover.

Conspirators gather; identities raven.

Till a rasp voice broke and a tiny spark flew. Mayhem ignite!

Sunrise to sundown, the young tractor tilled. Cabbage, carrot, and onion, the seeds he filled.

Till a neighbor checked, seed labels and all. “Biennial” it read, in letters not scrawl. “Least they weren’t apples” 🙂

The people have spoken (they were not heard). They demand payment (not a cent spurred).

Ninety-nine percent (bailed out the 1). Occupying the streets (a failure to stun).

Till one day by the hill (Capitol Hill).  A bright flash sent a chill (Nuclear Chill). The world changed forever after.

Numberless book, scattered between stacks. Your name, you hardly remember.

Printed but discarded, lost to archives. Decades you wait, in dark no sight.

Till Gutenberg takes you, white light and all. The internet has found you, a thousand eyes crawl.
