“I’m placing John in the back-seat and taking the front wheel.”
“Don’t you think the chassis is a bit… gaudy?”
“It’s vintage and I think quite fitting to his instructions.”
“He did say that he wanted to be buried in style; I took it to mean well-dressed. Did you ensure an open-casket?”
“Open-casket? The entire automobile is the casket. He asked to be buried with style!”

As one who respected her husband’s wishes and put his ashes in a Coke bottle, I totally love and approve of this! What a great way to go!

I saw a photo recently of a fisherman being hauled to the cemetery in his boat, although I don’t think they planned to bury the boat. But you know what they say, “Old fishermen never die, they just smell that way.”

My mother in law was upset when my sister in law buried her husband in T-shirt and blue jeans. It was his style.
